Important tips before you start

Watch the instructional video before beginning.
Read the visual instructions to ensure accuracy.
Select the right tray size — small, medium, or large — to best fit your top and bottom teeth.
Ensure proper spacing. There should be at least 2–3 mm of space between your front teeth and the tray’s walls (to prevent scraping against the plastic).
You’ll receive an email and text confirmation after uploading your impression images to our form if they are approved or not — wait for this before mailing them back to us.
Wash your impressions with water before placing them in the return mailer.
Stick the return label on the return envelope and drop it off via USPS.
Include your Customer Info Card in the return package.

Step 1

Choose a small, medium, or large tray for your top and bottom teeth.
Ensure all of your teeth fit comfortably within the tray.
Make sure there’s at least 2–3 mm of space between your teeth and the inside wall of the tray.

Step 2

90 seconds

Step 3

Take one white putty and one blue putty.
Mix thoroughly until the color is completely blended with no streaks.
Roll the putty into a log shape.
Place all of the putty in one tray (top tray only).
Complete only one impression at a time to prevent drying out the second putty from exposure.
If you ordered both a top and bottom retainer or night guard, wait until you’ve completed the first impression before preparing the second tray.

Step 4

Spread the putty evenly throughout the top tray.
Press it down lightly so it stays in place but does not overflow.
The putty should completely cover your teeth and extend past the gum line.
If you only ordered a top or bottom retainer or night guard, only complete that impression.

Step 5

Place the tray in your mouth so all of your teeth fit inside.
Don’t bite down onto the tray. Gently push up and allow the putty to form around your teeth naturally.
The putty should completely cover your teeth and extend past the gum line.
Remain still and breathe through your nose while keeping your lips relaxed.

Step 6

Wait for a confirmation email and text before mailing your impressions.

Step 8

Wash your impressions under running water before placing them inside the return mailer.
Stick the provided return label onto the mailer.
Place both impressions and your Customer Info Card inside the return envelope.
Drop your package at your local post office or closest USPS mailbox.

You will receive an email confirmation once we receive your impressions.
